Scheduled Itinerary for this Tour:

Day 1: San Francisco/Tel-Aviv

Today you board a magnificent 747 jetliner for your journey to Tel-Aviv.

Day 2: Tel-Aviv

Arrive Ben-Gurion Int’l Airport. Upon arrival to Israel, you will be met and assisted by our representatives and official guide who will take us to our journey of the Holy Land.  Transfer to our Hotel.  Overnight in Galilee/Golden Crown in Nazareth of similar (D).

Day 3: Cana/Caesarea/Haifa/Mount Tabor

After breakfast, we travel to Cana, the site of Jesus first Miracle of turning water into wine (Jn 2:1-11).  Then we travel north to caeare, an early Christian Center, where Peter baptized the Roman centurion Cornelius (Acts 10).  Visit the excavations, Roman Theatre and the Herodian Port.  Cotinue to Mount Carmen, the site where Elijah challenged the false prophet of Baaal and won (I King 18:15).  Next stop will be a visit to Haifa (Israel’s third-largest city snf sn import port).  View Bahia’s  shrine and the newly designed Bahia’s garden: among the most beautiful in the world.  We will continue our travel to Galilee in Mount Tabor.  Where Jesus transfigured in the presence of Peter, James and John (Matt 17).  Overnight in Galilee.(B/D).

Day 4: The Old City/Sepulcher Church/Mount Zion

Morning drive to Jerusalem/The Holy City.  Mount of Olives/Ascension Chapel/Paternoster Church and Cave/Dominus Flevit/Palm Sunday Road.  View the Ecce Homo Arch and remnants of the judgement Hall of Pontius Pilate.  Walk alongthe Via Dolorosa and join the procession led by a Franciscan Priests.    Visit the place of the Crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.  Walk and explore the Christian, Moslem and Jewish Armenia Quarters.  Return to Nazareth.  Overnight in Galilee. (B/D).

Day 5: Sea of Galilee/Boat Ride/Capernaum/Tabgha/Nazarath

Today, we cruise aborad “Jesus Boat” across the Sea of Galilee” we will celebrate Mass on the Boat while passing the village of Magdala, hometown of Mary Magdalene; Bethsaida, Genesret to view 2000 year-old Jesus Boat Visit, Capernaum, the home of Peter, site of feeding of 5000 and Mount of the Beatitude, site of the Sermon on the Mount and site of  the Peter’s Primacy. After visit to Joseph and Mary’s well, we will return to and Overnight in Galilee.  (B/D).

Day 6: Mt. Carmel, Caesarea/Joppa/Emmaus/Judean Hills/Jerusalem.

Today, we depart Galilee for Jerusalem.  We will go to the Holy Sepulcher and see the place where Jesus was crucified, where He laid nad anointed and where He was buried.  After our visit, we will have time to roam around the market and do some shopping.  We will also have lunch at the square.  We will drive along the old Jericho Road passing the inn of the Good Samaritan.  Passing by Jericho, we view the Mount of Temptation and Mount Nebo.  Proceeding along the Jordan Valley to Beit-Shean (Ancient Scitopolice.  One of the Decapolis cities during the time of the ministry of Jesus).  We than will visit the “Yardenit”  The Jordan river Baptismal site.  Check in Prima Royal Hotel or similar.  (B/D).

Day 7: Western Wall/The Pools of Bethesda, Bethlehem

Travel to the old city and enter through St. Stephen’s gate.  Visit the pool of Bethesda and St. Anne’s Church.

View the Ecce Homo Arch and the remnants of the judgement hall of Pontius Pilate.  Visit Mount Olives and have a bird’s eye view of the city.  Drive along the Eastern Wall to the Western Wall.  Visit the Western Wall and view Temple Mount.  Travel to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ.  We will also visit St. Jerome’s Chapel and St. Catherine’s Chapel and the Shepherd’s fields.  Overnight in Jerusalem (B/D).

Day 8: Massada/Qumran/Dead Sea/Ein-Geddie

After breakfast, we drive along the Jordan Valley, passing Jericho on our way to the Dead Sea.  In the Horizon, we will see Mt. Nevo.  We continue to drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered.  Then we ascent Masada by Cable Car for a fascinating tour of the mountain where 960 Jewish defenders organized his soldiers from King Saul.  We enjoy a float in the salty water of the dead Sea.  Late afternoon, we visit the Garden of Gethsemane.  Overnight Jerusalem (B/D).

Day 9: Visitation Church, The New City of Jerusalem, the Shrine of the Book/Holocaust Museum:

Check out.  Today we visit the Church of St. John, Visitation, the New City of Jerusalem, the Shrine of the Book and the City Model (portraying the city as it was in the time of Jesus church).  Yad Vashem-the Holocaust Museum and then drop off at the airport. (B).

Day 10: TLV-LAX  / San Francisco

Return back home.

***Mass will celebrated daily.  Places and time will be confirmed by the Christian Pilgrimage office as the Time nearer our arrival. Mass will held from Day 3 – 9.  Some of the Places are the Holy Sepulchre, Garden of Gethsemane, Wedding Church at Canna, Sea of Galilee, Church of Transfiguration, Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, the Church of Annunciation and The Church of  Transfiguration and The Upper Room.
