Scheduled Itinerary for this Tour:

Day 1: San Francisco/Beijing

Depart San Francisco for a pleasant flight to Beijing –the capital city of China by United airlines or Cathay Pacific Airways.

Day 2: Beijing

After an afternoon arrival, transfer to Pullman Hotel & Chang An Grand Hotel for a nice rest in preparation of an exciting trip the following day. (D.)

Day 3: Beijing

Tour this historic city with special visit to the Forbidden City; Tiananmen Square; the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven; Cloisonné Factory also you may have chance to try on the China’s emperor and empress costume. Visit the night market after dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Beijing

Enjoy a full day tour to The Great Wall-one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the Ming Tombs. You will also view the famous Olympics stadium “Bird’s Nest” and “Water Cube”. Evening enjoy the Peking Dinner (B/L/D)

Day 5: Beijing – Xian

Late morning flight to Xian-once the largest city in the world and paradigm of imperial splendor. Upon arrival, transfer to the beautiful Sheraton Hotel or Hyatt Hotel for your stay in Xian before visit Wild goose Pagoda; Enjoy the special Cultural Performance of Tang Sing & Dancing Show. (B/L/D)

Day 6: Xian

Today discover the treasures of this region with a full day tour to the Qin Tomb excavation famous for the Terra Cotta Warriors. Also visit the archaeological ruins of Ban Bo Village. Day 7: Xian – Guilin

Take the morning tour Forest of Steles and the City Wall. flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, immediately visit the Elephant Truck Hill and Fubo Hill. Stay at the Royal Garden Hotel for rest. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Guilin

Whole day Li River Cruise one of China’s Highlight. Marvel at the extraordinary pinnacles that seem to be taken out from a Chinese artist scroll. After dinner, you will enjoy the Ethnic Singing and dancing performance. (B/L/D)

Day 9: Guilin – Hangzhou

This morning visit the Reed Flute Cave-once served as an air-raid shelter during world War II when America’s Flying Tiger squadron was based in Guilin. Today it is one of China’s better-illuminated caves. An early afternoon flight to Hangzhou, Upon arrival, you will transfer to Continental Hotel for rest. (B/L/D)

Day 10: Hangzhou

Known for its “Heavenly” beauty, Hangzhou attracts thousands of tourists annually. Cruise the exquisite West Lake and explore Xiaoyingzhou islet, the Three Pools Mirroring the the Moon, Orioles Singing in the Willows and the Autumn Moon Over the Calm Lake plus the Six Harmony Pagoda. (B.L.D.)

Day 11: Hangzhou/Shanghai

In the morning visit the famous Lin Ying Temple and Six Harmony Pagoda and then take the later afternoon train for Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to Ramada Plaza Gateway Hotel which is central located on Nanjing Road. Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B.L.D.)

Day 12: Shanghai

Change pace today when you tour the largest and most populated city in China: Shanghai. Start from Zhongshan Road is a wide, tree-lined avenue along the Huangpu River till you reach the Bund-once the exclusive domain of the Western powers. The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, the China’s Foreign Trade Corp., the Clock Tower, etc. are all good contrast to U.S. Metropolitan environment. A visit to the Worker’s Residential area and the Jade Buddha Temple (with its two rare statues of Buddha, each carved out of a single piece of white jade). The rest of the day is also delightful.
